England international Adama Johnson has been sent death threats by internet trolls after he allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old fan.

The Sunderland winger has been suspended by his club whilst the police investigation continues and was nowhere to be seen when the Black Cats faced Hull City last night.
Johnson is understood to have met the female supporter online when she asked him for a signed Sunderland shirt and was arrested after bragging to friends about their ‘relationship’ on social media which led to her father complaining to police.
His arrest has led to outrage online and seen him become the target of threats which the Daily Star say are now being monitored by police.
“You filthy f***ing p*********. I’ll kill you,” said one.
Whilst another said: “If true shoot the sick b*****d.”
Both the player’s girlfriend and family are standing by him with his mother Debra saying they believed him to be: “100% innocent”.
A picture has since emerged which claims to show Johnson and the girl with the victim’s face blurred out.
Durham Police warned that anyone names the girl will face prosecution.
