Louis Van Gaal May Break Man United Record For Worst Away Form

He could even end up with a worse record than Moyes!

Louis van Gaal is in danger of breaking a Premier League era record for Manchester United with his side facing the prospect of their worst ever season away from Old Trafford.

Van Gaal’s side will need two more wins on the road – six points – if they are to avoid breaking an embarrassingly low record for the Red Devils.

But have so far managed just four away victories with seven draws and three losses, seeing them gain a meagre 19 points.

These stats even pale in comparison to the supposedly failed reign of David Moyes that day-by-day continues to look better and better in comparison with the Dutchman.

Moyes’ team managed 33 points on the road last season with ten victories, three draws and five defeats.

If van Gaal fails to get the required six points, he will beat the disastrous form of Sir Alex Ferguson’s 2010/11 side that managed only 25 points away – though they did still manage to win the title that year thanks to their incredible home form.

The five fixtures United have left should see them clamber over the finishing line but with two of those fixtures against table topping opposition, Liverpool and Chelsea, all bets could be off.
