Former Tottenham star Jermaine Jenas has hit out at Manchester United’s record signing Angel di Maria, claiming that he needs to work on his strength like Arsenal star Mesut Ozil did.

The £59.7m signing from Real Madrid hit the ground running when he first moved to Old Trafford, but just like Ozil his form soon took a huge dip.
The Arsenal star has looked revitalised since returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and Jenas puts it down to his increased strength and size.
“Angel Di Maria is obviously struggling at the moment,” he said, speaking on 5Live.
“He reminds me of Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, starting like a house on fire and then going downhill. He needs to work on his body strength. That’s just what Ozil has done.”
Di Maria has failed to have the impact expected of him at Manchester United this season, and needs to improve if he is to even begin to pay off some of the sizeable fee paid out for him.
Arsenal’s £42.5m man is finally beginning to look settled in the Premier League, but United fans will hope it won’t take the Argentine as long to adjust to the English top flight.
He is clearly a player of quality, so you would expect it only to be a matter of time before he begins to shine once again.
