Tigres fans are preparing to ‘invade’ Argentina.

Tigres are famous for having the best fans in Mexico, and it is common to see 20,000+ of them traveling 1,000s miles within the country to see their team play. This time, they’ve travelled a bit further – all the way to Argentina, a ten hour flight.

Hundreds of Tigres fans have now gathered in the centre of Buenos Aires to show their support to the team ahead of Thursday night’s game against River Plate in the Copa Libertadores.

Reportedly, they are currently raising money to buy game tickets, having spent all their money on travel.

“As always, we will not stop chanting to show everyone how we feel about Tigres”, explained the fans whilst jumping in front of the Obelisco, a famous monument in the centre of the capital city.

Tigres have won their only game in the competition so far, while River Plate lost theirs.
