(Video Highlights) AC Milan 2-2 Verona: Super-Sub Lopez Piles Pressure On Pippo Inzaghi

Could this be the death knell of the Inzaghi regime at Milan?

Filippo Inzaghi suffered another devastating blow as manager of AC Milan with his side surrendering a 2-1 lead in the fourth minute of added time against Verona.

It was a terrible start for the Rossoneri after Sulley Muntari foolishly felled a Verona man in the box before Luca Toni confidently stepped up and dispatched a quite gorgeous penenka penalty.

However, Milan fought back and equalised themselves from the spot through Jeremy Menez after Philippe Mexes was taken out in the Verona penalty area.

Mexes was involved again for Milan’s second, the Frenchman managed to control a ball and fire it towards goal before it was bundled in my two Verona defenders trying to clear it.

But Pippo Inzaghi’s tactics are sure to come into question as Verona equalised late into added time through substitute Lopez after some ridiculous play at the back from Milan.

Inzaghi had substituted a number of key attacking personnel in favour of defenders as he looked to see out a 2-1 win but it came back to bite him as his side continued to invite pressure and inevitably conceded at the death.
