Paris Saint Germain manager Laurent Blanc has revealed that his side are brimming with confidence ahead of the second leg of their Last 16 Champions League clash with Premier League leaders Chelsea.

The sides go into the match at Stamford Bridge all square, after drawing 1-1 in Paris two weeks ago. The Blues hold the advantage, thanks to Branislav Ivanovic’s away goal, but Blanc is confident the French giants can turn it around.
After thrashing Lens 4-1 on Wednesday to go top of the Ligue 1 table, Blanc believes his side are ready to produce a similar performance against Chelsea. Former Blues defender David Luiz was among the scorers in that game, as was talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored twice.
Blanc, who was quoted by the Daily Mirror after his side’s latest win, said: “At Chelsea we will have fewer chances than this evening so we have to take them when they come.
“Of course we believe we can go through. We have a disadvantage because they scored that goal away from home. It’s up to us to do the same thing. We don’t have the same philosophy in our game as they do. But if we show the same realism as them I will take that.”
