The former Ajax man is currently on a season-long loan at Southampton from Atletico Madrid, and although the Saints have the option to make his move a permanent one in the summer, the player himself says no discussions have yet taken place.
“I feel good in the Premier League, but I have no idea about any concrete interest” he said.
“Atletico can make me return [for a small fee] because I still have two more years on my contract, Southampton can buy me, or another club can make an offer”
“It seems, at least, that it is going to be another hectic summer for me.”
The 26-year-old has enjoyed a good season under Koeman, playing more than 20 games and chipping in with a couple of goals. It is thought Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, and Spurs are all monitoring the situation.
