Le TFC are in the midst of a relegation dogfight, having accrued only 29 points from their first 28 matches. They are currently two points off 17th-place Lorient, but morale is low after a 6-1 hammering by Olympique Marseille on Friday evening.

This weekend they face fellow strugglers Racing Club de Lens, with the Lensois-who currently sit in 19th place, seven points off Toulouse-keen to pull themselves towards safety.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference, as reported by France Footballcoach Casanova has revealed how Sadran has urged his players to win the match.

“As the president said,” Casanova began, “it’s necessary to get the club out of the bloody mess it finds itself in.”

Toulouse travel to Lens on Saturday while Lorient host Caen at the Stade du Moustoir.
