Both sides enjoyed big wins last weekend, with OM smashing Toulouse 6-1 on Friday evening and OL putting five past Montpellier Herault in a 5-1 triumph on Sunday.

OL will head to the Stade Velodrome on Sunday looking to keep abreast of their main challengers at the top of Ligue 1. They currently sit one point ahead of  Paris Saint-Germain, who meet Girondins de Bordeaux in this weekend’s fixtures.

OM, by contrast, will be keen to close the four-point gap between themselves and Lacazette’s team.

“I think [it will be a spectacular match],” began the French forward, speaking to France Football, “because Marseille, like us, are a team who like to attack, who like playing offensively.

“Therefore, there will naturally be many chances and, I hope, quite a lot of goals on our side.”
