Lorient without four players for Caen Ligue 1 meeting

While Lorient will be buoyed by the returns of Yann Jouffre and Lamine Kone ahead of their Ligue 1 match against Caen on Saturday evening, they are also having to contend with several absentees, both through injury and suspension.

France Football have reported that Lamine Gassama, the Senegalese right-back, has been included in the squad but remains a doubt for the match against Caen.

By contrast, Mathieu Coutadeur has been ruled out with adductor trouble, while Valentin Lavigne is struggling with a hip problem and Mathias Autret will be missing due to groin problems.

New signing Gabon international Ibrahim Didier N’dong is suspended for the meeting with Caen after receiving a red card on his first full start for Les Merlus against  Saint-Etienne last weekend.
