Paris Saint-Germain will be without three players when they travel to the Stade Chaban-Delmas to face Girondins de Bordeaux on Sunday afternoon.

Following the side’s exertions in midweek, when they drew 2-2 with Chelsea after extra-time at Stamford Bridge to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, coach Laurent Blanc has opted to rest Marquinhos.

The former France international informed the media that the defender was still feeling the effects of the midweek contest in London and would therefore be left out of the squad for the Bordeaux match, according to France Football.

“I’m not yet certain, but he has a small problem with his thigh which is tired, I think he will be given rest,” Blanc confirmed.

Right-back Serge Aurier and attacker Lucas Moura will not travel with the team as they recover from injuries, although Yohan Cabaye is fit.
