The Argentine has more time to watch the sport now that his side have been knocked out of the Europa League. The North London club were knocked out of the competition by Fiorentina in the round of 32 a couple of weeks ago.

The 43-year-old watched the darts this week alongside the football that was being played: “I watched Europa League. All the games. I had two screens in front of me, one with Europa League, the other with Premier League Darts. It’s true. They don’t have darts in Argentina but since I arrived in Southampton I have been a fan of the darts. I’ve never played but I watch on TV.”

Spurs are up against Manchester United on Sunday in what will be a key match for both sides’ chances at finishing in the Premier League top four. If the White Hart Lane outfit win then they will overtake the Red Devils and could possibly go in to the Champions League qualification places depending on the result of Liverpool’s game with Swansea City.
