Alan Pardew’s home side blitzed hopeless QPR with three first half goals, effectively ending the game as a contest, before Matty Phillips scored a golazo consolation effort.
Wilfried Zaha put Palace ahead on 20 minutes after great work from Yannick Bolasie.
Bolasie was once again the provide for the second, with a superb cross turned in by James McArthur.
