It was revealed earlier this week that Manchester United will not be taking up their option to sign the striker after a disastrous loan spell from French side Monaco, scoring only four goals this season.

The Colombian striker is said to have accepted that his career at the Red Devils will come to an end at the end of the season, but would like to stay in the Premier League.

That said, it is likely he will have to take a sizeable cut in wages from his current £265,000 a week pay packet, along with his parent club lowering their £44 million price tag.

It’s possible that the striker could still interest the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal, who had been interested in signing him previous to signing more strikers.

Valencia had thought to be interested in signing Falcao, though may struggle to justify paying his massive wages.

The Colombian was even relegated to the under-21 squad earlier this week and Louis van Gaal looks set to draw a line under the loan disaster, targeting two strikers to sign this summer.
