Bayern Munich could be plotting a move to sign Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic as the in-form defender stalls on signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Star.

The Serbian international has 16 months remaining on his current deal with the Blues, and has been one of their best players this season with some fine all-round performances.
Bayern are keen to improve in defence after some poor performances from Brazilian centre-back Dante this season, and could use Ivanovic in that role as his replacement.
Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the 31-year-old Chelsea stalwart, though the Blues will be desperate to keep him at the club and tie him down to a new deal.
