Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has revealed that club captain Wayne Rooney gave a team talk to inspire the team to victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Belgian international scored the opening goal as his side romped to a 3-0 win against the north Londoners, and their explosive start may have been inspired by words from Rooney.
When asked about United’s big improvement in form in the game this weekend, Fellaini said: “I think last night the captain talked to the team about next season for the Champions League.
“I think it affected the team and I think it was an important speech.”
