(Video) Reading boss responds after Garath McCleary racially abused during FA Cup clash

Reading boss Steve Clarke responded to the allegations that his midfielder Garath McCleary was racially abused by a Bradford City fan during the two sides’ FA Cup quarter-final replay at the Madejski Stadium, according to the Guardian.

The incident occurred as the 27-year-old was about to take a corner five minutes before half time during the game which the Royals would go onto win 3-0, to secure a Wembley semi-final against Arsenal. McCleary was visibly upset at what happened and reported it almost straight away to the officials.

A man was arrested following the allegation.
