Manchester United are ready to sign both Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer in a £165m double swoop, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Red Devils may be joined by local rivals Manchester City in the hunt for the pair, whose futures at the Bernabeu look uncertain after a difficult run of form in recent times.
Spanish football expert Graham Hunter has backed the two Manchester clubs to target Ronaldo and Bale, in what would be a highly exciting summer transfer saga.
“There is a very clear opinion among the two Manchester clubs, and I mean City as well as United, that they think they have an opportunity to come and buy Ronaldo,” Hunter said.
“Honestly, my opinion is we have to wait and see because I think he (Ronaldo) will be tempted. He will be asked by both Manchester clubs. I think that goes for Bale too.”
