According to L’Equipe, the attacker will be absent due to an adductor injury and will not travel with Le Gym to the Stade de Gerland for Saturday’s early kick-off.

The news will come as a blow to Claude Puel, who will be desperate to return his side to winning ways having lost four on the bounce. In fact, Nice haven’t won in their last seven matches-drawing three then losing four-and are without a victory since January 23.

That last triumph came unexpectedly as Les Aiglons bested rivals Olympique de Marseille at the Allianz Riviera. The experienced coach will be hoping that against a similarly testing opponent, his side may be inspired to another unlikely triumph.

However, their task will be made tougher without local boy Bosetti. The forward is the team’s third-highest scorer so far this term having notched four goals in 21 Ligue 1 appearances.
