Manchester United and Arsenal look set for summer transfer disappointment, with Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani now a major target for Italian giants Juventus.

According to reports from talkSPORT, the Uruguayan is likely to leave the French capital in the summer, with a number of clubs vying for his signature.
PSG paid £46.5m to Napoli for Cavani’s services in 2013, but he’s managed just 24 goals in 56 games since the move, and has often been played out wide to accommodate the club’s star striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Juventus are now believed to have stepped up their interest in the 28-year-old, despite already owning Carlos Tevez, Alvaro Morata and Fernando Llorente, and could make the first move in a summer bidding war.
Cavani is under contract until 2018, and PSG are only likely to accept top dollar for one of their prize assets. After scoring 78 goals in 104 Serie A games prior to his move to Paris, his talent is clear to see, and it remains to be seen whether United or Arsenal will respond.
