Bastia vs. Guingamp Ligue 1 Preview: Depleted Corsicans forced to play away from home

Posted by

With the Stade Furiani closed indefinitely after crowd trouble, SC Bastia welcome En Avant de Guingamp to the Stade Parsemain in Fos-sur-Mer.

When: 7.00 pm GMT, 21 March 2015

Where: Stade Parsemain, Fos-sur-Mer

Bastia coach Ghislain Printant has been hit with a double-whammy this week. Not only have the Corsicans been kicked out of their Stade Furiani home due to crowd trouble, but they will head to the mainland to face Guingamp without nine players.

Captain Yannick Cahuzac remains absent through suspension, and he is joined by Giovanni Sio, who was dismissed against AS Monaco last weekend.

Junior Tallo is out with a back complaint, while playmaker Ryan Boudebouz will be missing due to an issue with his quads.

They face a Guingamp side looking to continue their winning ways after having bested OGC Nice last Friday evening. That victory ended a run of three defeats and Jocelyn Gourvennec will be keen for EAG to push into the top half of the table.
