The Brazilian international has struggled to make an impression since joining the Blues last summer, and has been linked with a return to his old club in a move that could help Jose Mourinho land Koke.

However, Luis now says he wants to see out his three-year contract with Chelsea, which may mean the club cannot raise the sufficient funds to bid for the £48m-rated Spaniard.

“When I arrived here in Chelsea, I signed a three-year contract, which I want to fulfil,” the 29-year-old is quoted as saying.
