The 22 year old French international has been strongly linked with a move away from his Turin side for some months now and Jose Mourinho may be encouraged to make an offer for the £70m rated star following comments made by Giuseppe Marotta.

‘We are here celebrating a victory achieved by a team, a team that played without Pogba,’ stated CEO Marotta.

‘This means football is a team sport and not just about individuals.’

Juventus insist no formal bid has been made for the former Man United man but the Italian giants may well see offers made for Pogba over the summer.

Pogba has been a crucial member of a Juventus side that has been hugely dominant in the Italian top tier, though the club’s struggle to make an impact at Champions League level could perhaps lead to the youngster considering his options.
