Liverpool captain given HILARIOUSLY low player rating following 38 second Anfield nightmare

It was a day that Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will want to forget as soon as possible, as his last ever game for the Reds against their bitter rivals Manchester United ended prematurely after he was shown a straight red card for a stamp on Ander Herrera, just 38 seconds after coming on as a half-time substitute for Adam Lallana.

And in the Daily Mail, Gerrard was given a rating that every footballer must fear whenever the open a newspaper…a 1/10..

Gerrard, who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, will now serve a three-match ban and is set to miss upcoming league games against Arsenal and Newcastle United as well as the FA Cup quarter-final replay against Blackburn Rovers.
