The Daily Telegraph claim Tottenham want £6m for the 27 year old, a fee that is likely to be considered a fair one by Toffees boss Roberto Martinez.

Lennon was in danger of stagnating on the Tottenham bench, with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Nacer Chadli, Erik Lamela and Andros Townsend all ahead of the former Leeds United man in Mauricio Pochettino’s wide-attacking pecking order, and the pint sized speedster has been fairly impressive since moving to Merseyside.

Tottenham paid Leeds United just £1m for Lennon back in 2005 and early on his time at the club he proved a real success, garnering 21 England caps, but the attacker has seriously gone off the boil in recent campaigns.

Since moving to Everton Lennon has made five starts and netted a late winner in their recent away trip to face QPR.
