Southampton’s 22-year-old shot stopper Cody Cropper is a surprise inclusion in Jurgen Klinsmann’s US squad for their games against Denmark and Switzerland.

He is uncapped at senior level, but has represented the U21s on several occasions.

Elsewhere, Spur’s defender DeAndre Yedlin gets the nod, as does Sunderland flop Jozy Altidore. There is no place for Clint Dempsey, who is suffering from a strained hamstring.
