Final squads announced for Anfield All-Star charity match

The one fixture that should garner the attention of all football fans is not England vs Lithuania…it’s the mouthwatering All-Star Charity Match between a Steven Gerrard XI and a Jamie Carragher XI

The two Liverpool icons have joined forces one more time in a bid to raise funds for the club’s official charity and to provide much-needed help in the community.

There will be Anfield returns for past heroes such as Xabi Alonso, Pepe Reina, Luis Suarez, Fernando Torres and Luis Garcia among others, while there will also be appearances from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Chelsea star Didier Drogba.

Current Reds players will also be taking part in proceedings at Anfield, with the likes of Mario Balotelli, Lucas, Rickie Lambert and Jose Enrique all guaranteed to get more minutes on the pitch than they do on a regular match-day.

While some of the club’s most promising stars will get a chance to show fans a glimpse of their talent.

Gerrard squad:
