According to the Daily Express, the Chelsea man is Juventus’ boss Massimo Allegri’s first-choice summer transfer target following Marchisio’s latest setback, which could see him ruled out until the end of the calender year.

The playmaker suffered a cruciate anterior ligament injury in training with the Italian national side, leaving the Serie A leaders short of options in the middle of the park.

With Paul Pogba’s future also unclear, Allegri is keen to strengthen. Sky Sports revealed earlier today that both Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in the Frenchman, leading Juventus to further eye up the Blues stalwart.

Ramires has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot so far this season, having featured from the beginning of just eight Premier League games so far this season, and could be equally eager to leave.
