Benfica forward Anderson Talisca was knocked out while scoring for Brazil Under 23’s on Friday.
The 21-year-old has been linked to Chelsea by the London Evening Standard, and the Blues will surely be hoping that this head injury won’t affect him in the future. He has been in fine form for the Portuguese giants this season, scoring nine goals in 25 appearances in the Liga Sagres.
According to the Standard the striker wanted to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, but was unable to because of work permit issues. Eventually the player went to Benfica for just £3.2 million, and this could now cost the Blues big. He is being touted at £35 million by the London paper. With Didier Drogba now 37-years-old, it is a price that Jose Mourinho may have to pay to bolster his forward ranks.
