The report claims the Gunners are keen on bringing in the German international to add to their list of attacking options, with Arsene Wenger showing he is willing to bring in big names in recent seasons with the signings of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck.

Still, Reus may prove to be out of reach for the north London giants, with the Mail tipping Real Madrid to win the race for his signature this summer.

The 25-year-old has 12 goals and 6 assists in just 20 appearances in all competitions this season, and has become regarded as one of the world’s best attacking midfield players in the last few years.

Real are known for their method of signing ‘Galacticos’ and beating their rivals to the world’s best players, and that may see Arsenal miss out on this particular transfer target.
