Peeping Poole Town manager Tom Killick watches match from attic skylight after being banned from stadium

A non-League manager with lofty ambitions was able to circumnavigate a stadium ban at the weekend, after coming up with a genius way of watching his side in action.

Poole Town boss Tom Killick was hit with a six-game suspension earlier this month for using foul and abusive language to a referee in January.

As a result, he was not allowed into the ground for Saturday’s home game with Cambridge City in the Southern League Premier Division.

Nevertheless, he made sure he had a good view of the pitch by gaining access to a local house and peeping through an attic skylight.

Killick will have enjoyed what he saw too, because his side won 3-2.

That victory keeps Poole well on course to achieve promotion.

The Dorset outfit sit one point clear at the top of the table, with three games in hand on Corby Town – their nearest rival for the title.
