The Daily Express are claiming this evening that the Ligue 1 giants consider the 25-year-old Ukrainian as the ideal summer signing, and are prepared to allow their out-of-favour wide-man to leave as a result.

PSG have reportedly opened talks with Dynamo Kiev over a potential deal, with 29-year-old Lavezzi set to be ditched in the summer due to his high wages. Yarmolenko is worth in the region of £19m, and the sale of Lavezzi would also help contribute towards that price tag.

A number of Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in Yarmolenko in the past, with Everton boss Roberto Mancini recently backing the player to be a success at any English club.

He said: “He would be a good signing for the Premier League. Any player who has got good ability in one-to-one situations and brings a goal-scoring threat can find a big role.

“Our league is very physical, very demanding. Yarmolenko controls the moment of the game really well. He’s got 10, 15 goals a season. He has good experience and is a good age.”
