Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Spurs are closely considering a bid for the Blues former No.1 one as doubts emerged over the future of Hugo Lloris.
Whilst the north London club are adamant they do no want to sell Lloris and are confident he will stay, the Daily Mirror claim they accept that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain could make an offer for their French shot-stopper that’s hard to refuse.
And if Mauricio Pochettino finds himself on the hunt of a new keeper in the summer, the Mirror believe Cech will be top of his list of potential replacements.
Rather inversely, Cech could also be one of PSG’s potential targets in goal whilst the Czech Republic international has also attracted interest, say the Mirror, from Roma.
Since the return of Thibaut Courtois from a loan deal with Atletico Madrid in the summer, Cech has made just eight appearances for Chelsea.
It’s therefore no surprise the 32-year-old is said to be looking for pastures new in the summer having become the reserve goalkeeper at Stamford Bridge through no fault of his own.
