(Video) Red card! Liverpool’s Emre Can sent off for needless challenge vs Arsenal
Goals from Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, and Olivier Giroud sunk the Merseyside club. The Reds only had a converted penalty from Jordan Henderson to show for their troubles, and had their misery compounded by the sending off of Emre Can.
Brendan Rodgers’ side were often caught out trying to play the ball short out of defence, and Carragher was clearly not happy with this from his former side. Another tweet looks like it was directed at Simon Mignolet.
Mignolet outstanding start! Lfc need to play long for the next 5 mins inviting pressure stop f******g about!!

Keeper shouts at defence when he makes a good save. Shut up get back in your goal that’s what your paid for.

The defeat to the Gunners leaves the Reds all but out of the top four race, with five points between them and fourth placed Manchester United despite having played an extra game. With an FA Cup quarter final replay against Blackburn Rovers coming up they will have to pick themselves up from this defeat quickly.
