It’s been an eventful week for Raheem Sterling to say the least and one he is not likely to forget any time soon, if those on Twitter have their way.

“4 awesome goals” – Arsenal 4-1 Liverpool: Twitter reacts to sensational Gunners performance
Things had been going so well for the 20-year-old, scoring his first international goal for England against Lithuania last Friday,
But sadly it’s all gone down hill from there, an interview with the BBC was conducted without the permission of his club on Thursday and that seemed to irk the club supporters, then against Arsenal on Saturday he failed to deliver a performance which justifies him rejecting a new contract worth a reported £100k-a-week.
After starting in a more familiar attacking role at the Emirates, he missed a glorious chance to give his side the lead midway through the first half as he failed to get a touch on a Lazar Markovic pass.
Although he did improve in the second half, winning a penalty, it seemed as if the the drama of the past week had gotten the best of him.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers said in his post match press conference that he felt Sterling was “outstanding” as reported in the Evening Standard but those on Twitter seem to disagree:
