Tottenham are said to be close to securing the signing of Marseille star Andre Ayew acccording to the Metro.

The 25 year old Ghana international will see his contract with Marseille expire in the summer and despite the apparent interest of Everton and Newcastle United the north London side are confident they will get their man.
Ayew is into his sixth season in the Marseille first team set-up, having represented the Stade Velodrome side since the age of 16, but it appears the pacy attacker is set for a fresh challenge.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino may well feel he could do with fresh options in the final third, not least as the likes of Erik Lamela, Andros Townsend and loaned out wide-man Aaron Lennon have offered little this term, and clearly the chance to sign a player of Ayew’s ability on a free transfer is not one to pass up.
Ayew has been a regular this term, helping his side mount a Ligue 1 title challenge, bagging seven goals in 20 starts for Marseille.
