What a week it has been for Harry Kane, scoring on his England debut last Friday, then making his first international start against Italy the following Tuesday, now he will lead out Tottenham for their game against Burnley.

With club captain Younes Kaboul out of favour at White Hart Lane, vice-captain Hugo Lloris was ruled out of the game through injury and one of the stand-in skippers Jan Vertonghen will miss the game at Turf Moor leaving Kane as the man to wear the armband.
It has been a superb breakout season for the 21-year-old as he has scored 30 goals for club and country and is surely one of the contenders to be named young player of the season and could have a say in the senior award.
He will hope his first game as Spurs captain is a victorious one which could see them leapfrog Liverpool in fifth and keep their slim hopes of Champions League qualification alive.
