Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who is often reliable with his transfer speculation, claims that the Red Devils boss made sure he had a scout in attendance for the second-leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final between Napoli and Lazio on Wednesday night – with a number of talented players on show.

Lazio narrowly won 1-0, beating Napoli on aggregate 2-1 – but the scoreline was of no interest to the Dutchman, who, according to to Di Marzio’s report on the fixture, has his eye on Lazio’s Anderson and Biglia, as well as Napoli striker Higuain.

Anderson’s impressive performances this season, in which the 21-year-old has scored nine times and grabbed four assists, has seen him attract interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as Man United, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, the Mail Online report that Higuain isn’t happy with life at the Stadio San Paolo, and is eager to get back to competing in the Champions League.

But with Napoli having reportedly slapped a £40m price-tag on the former Real Madrid forward, there surely won’t be many clubs lining up to meet such a colossal figure.
