Borussia Dortmund have joined Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool in the race to sign Bursaspor right-back Ozan Tufan, reports the Daily Express.
The 20-year-old is valued at just £5 million according to the Express, which would surely be within all of these sides’ budgets. The defender only started playing regularly for his current club this season, making 30 appearances so far and performing well. This has piqued the interest of Europe’s big clubs, and it could well end up being an auction for his services.
United and their Merseyside rivals look to be more in need of a right-back than the other clubs that are interested. The Red Devils have been playing Antonio Valencia in the position for most of the season, who isn’t a natural in the role. Meanwhile the Reds have been forced to put Jordan Henderson and Lazar Markovic at wing-back at times, with Brendan Rodgers struggling to find the personnel to fit his new formation.
