Real Madrid transfer news
The German international is out of contract at the Bernabeu at the end of this season, with the likes of Manchester United, Schalke and Inter Milan also mentioned as interested parties as he looks set to be available on a free transfer.
Still, it could be that Khedira will end up following in the footsteps of the likes of Luis Figo in making the highly controversial move from the Bernabeu to the Nou Camp.
According to Sport, the 28-year-old has been offered to Barca, though one complication in the deal is that the Catalan giants cannot sign new players until next January due to their transfer ban imposed by FIFA.
Khedira first joined Real from Stuttgart back in 2010 and has been a key player for the club before falling out of favour in the starting lineup this season.
