Sergio Aguero bagged a late goal against Manchester United, but it surely prove to be nothing more than a consolation at Old Trafford, as his Manchester City side still trailed 4-2 with minutes to go.

The striker – who had given Manuel Pellegrini’s side the lead inside the first ten minutes – was found unmarked in the box, and had a relatively simple task of converting the chance past David De Gea. While Juan Mata – controversially – and Chris Smalling would seal the win for Louis van Gaal’s men, and leave the United fans telling Pellegrini to expect the sack in the near future.
