The Club of the Principality cruised through their group before overcoming Arsenal on away goals in the Last 16 after a 3-3 draw, and while they will be considered outsiders to advance to the semi-final, they are in fine fettle.

Indeed, since being defeated 2-0 by Arsenal in their second-round second leg match at the Stade Louis II, ASM are unbeaten, having beaten Stade de Reims away, and drawn with AS Saint-Etienne and Montpellier Herault Sport Club.

They also overcame Stade Malherbe Caen 3-0 on Friday evening to move into the top three in Ligue 1, on course to re-qualify for the Champions League next term.

On Tuesday evening, their main focus will be progression to the final four in the European Cup and they will look to give themselves a good start in the away leg in Turin.

Both Jeremy Toulalan and Ricardo Carvalho were replaced, injured, against Caen, but both will travel to Northern Italy and have been named in Jardim’s selection via L’Equipe.
