Newcastle United prepare hopeful summer move for Man United youngster

Newcastle United have reportedly made a move to bring in highly rated Man United youngster James Wilson on a season long loan deal next term according to the Metro.

The undoubtedly talented 20 year old has struggled to force his way into Louis van Gaal’s starting eleven this season and as such a temporary move to a Premier League rival could help the forward to garner some much needed experience.

Newcastle United have nosedived in recent months, a run of three wins in 17 Premier League fixtures has seen the Magpies fall to 13th, and one can well see why owner Mike Ashley would look to a financially prudent manner in which to boost their attack.

Wilson scored a brace on his Premier League debut last May against Hull City and has netted twice this term.

With the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao blocking his path at Man United this season one can see why Wilson has struggled to secure regular action at Man United.
