The charismatic German claims his decision to quit the Westfalenstadion has nothing to do with exhaustion (via the BBC), despite a debilitating season which saw the Bundesliga side face the shocking threat of relegation.
The pressure has seemingly got the better of Klopp, who felt it was best to reveal his intentions now rather than leaving it late and putting Dortmund in a precarious position. The 47-year-old will no doubt be seeking a new challenge once he feels prepared to do so, with the Premier League a potential destination.
