The Red Devils are going to take part in the International Champions Cup again, which they won last summer against teams such as Real Madrid and Liverpool. The match against their Merseyside rivals broke the record for the biggest crowd ever at a football game in the US last time round, with 109,318 fans turning up to watch.

Manager Louis van Gaal complained about the travel and amount of matches on the last tour. It isn’t clear from the release, but back in January the Daily Mirror claimed that the Dutchman had come to an agreement that his side won’t play on both coasts of the country. This could help United to mount a more serious Premier League title challenge in the next campaign.
