White Hart Lane full-back on Stamford Bridge radar.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning a surprise swoop for Tottenham left-back Danny Rose according to the Metro.
The 24 year old has been in fine form this term, leading to a first call-up to Roy Hodgson’s England national team set-up last month, and the Blues manager is said to see the White Hart Lane man as a possible replacement for Felipe Luis.
The Atletico Madrid man hasn’t impressed when called upon this term, the Brazilian being a back-up for Cesar Azpilicueta, and this has led to Chelsea’s interest in Rose.
Rose has battled manfully at Spurs for a few seasons and is now the club’s first choice starter and not a player boss Mauricio Pochettino will be interested in selling.
Though clearly a move from the north London side to their west London rivals would be a contentious one it may be one Rose considers to better this career, the Metro also claim Man City are tracking the Tottenham man.
