Where: Carrow Road, Norwich, England
When: April 17th, Friday, 19:45 pm
The top of the table couldn’t be closer as we head into the final games of the Championship, and Norwich and Middlesbrough are among a number of teams still fighting for those coveted automatic promotion places.
Alex Neil has done wonders since taking over at Norwich, and has fired his side into contention for a top two finish. Currently in second place, this clash against Middlesbrough could go a long way towards settling the race for promotion.
Currently the Championship’s in-form side, Norwich have lost just once in their last 16. They are just a point ahead of Aitor Karanka’s Middlesbrough however, and a loss would see them pushed out of the top two.
The Canaries have a fairly easy run after their clash with Borough, so if they can get all three points this Friday then they will be hot favourites for promotion. Middlesbrough will be hoping in form forward Patrick Bamford can ensure that doesn’t happen, and will look to the on loan Chelsea star to lead them to victory.
