The Belgian has been playing very well as the Blues have stormed to the top of the Premier League this season. He has helped his side to do this with 12 goals and eight assists. This form has led to him being nominated for both the PFA player of the year award and the PFA young player of the year award.

Despite this there are still some who think the 24-year-old could get even better, and Ferreira said of his comparisons to Ronaldo on talkSPORT: “They are different players in my opinion but if he keeps doing like he’s doing he has a good chance to reach that level as well.

“I’m very pleased to have a player like him. This is the type of player you need in the squad, doing very well in every game and helping the team. He’s a talented player and he can decide games.”

If Hazard is to become as good as the Portuguese he will need to score a lot more goals. The 30-year-old has netted 51 times in all competitions this season, over four times as many as the winger.
