The flying forward has only one year left on his contract and could leave St Andrews this summer if a tempting enough offer came in for him.

Bournemouth, who are battling for promotion to the Premier League, made three bids for the Blues man in January, reportedly going up to the value of £5 million, but due to his contract situation, his club could be tempted to cash in for as little as £3 million.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season in the Championship for the Midlands side, which has included a remarkable goal against play off hopefuls Wolves where he slotted home after taking the ball for the entire length of the pitch in a 2-1 win over their rivals.

Arsenal have a good record of developing young players from the lower leagues, and as such may be a preferred option for the youngster, having seen Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain recently join from the Football League and flourish at the Emirates Stadium.
