Tottenham Hotspur are still interested in signing £20m-rated Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke this summer, but could face competition from ambitious rivals West Ham United for his signature.

The Belgian international has been in fine goalscoring form for Villa since returning from a long injury layoff earlier this season, and looks once again to be showing himself to be one of the finest forward players in the English top flight at the moment.
Tottenham already have Harry Kane as their main man upfront, but it seems that manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring in reinforcements in that position, with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado not looking like much in the way of backup options.
However, the Daily Mail reports that West Ham are also chasing Benteke as they seek to make a big-money move for an exciting signing in the build-up to their move to the Olympic Stadium.
